We have a celebration to share of Gods protection .We, Linda and Wade Thomas live in Sarasota FL 6 months of the year. and have a villa. We were spared last night after a category 4 hurricane hit our area. When I hear the saying the calm before the storm I now know exactly what that means. We experienced it. During the time we were in the eye of the hurricane, it was complete calmness. No stars in the sky with completely darkness, no wind or rain. Nothing but calmness. We experienced that for an hour or so when the winds came in with tremendous gusts. Over 100 mph. We lost our power and for 6 hours we experienced it. Very intense. At 230 am the power came on and the winds stopped. In the morning, we walked the area and only saw a few trees down, debris all over but the villas all in tact. No damage. God is good. He protected us during this storm and comforted us during the hours. I pray for all of those who were not as fortunate as us.
