Southwest Community Church is a God-Centered, Christ-Exalting, Spirit-Led body of believers who exist to Love God Deeply, Love People Genuinely, and Make Disciples Continuously.
We are looking for a full-time Worship Pastor who will serve as the point person to lead the worship and music ministry and to execute the overall vision and direction of worship at SCC.
Music at Southwest Community is presented in a contemporary worship style as we desire for truth to be made accessible to the people of our present culture. We seek to respect and learn from our tradition and to incorporate aspects of our heritage into our worship of God, while carefully avoiding traditionalism and meaningless habits. Our desire is that all of the service elements—song, prayer, Scripture, sermon, Lord’s Supper, and baptism exist to highlight and point people to the Gospel.
