Care

The care team is all about “loving on” our church family and the local community. This could involve helping those who need a ride to church, those in need of food or clothing, or individuals or families going through loss.

Community Groups

Lead or host a small group where biblical discipleship and spiritual growth occur through intentional relationships and community.

Community Outreach

This team focuses on specific needs and opportunities within the community where God has placed us. This may involve ministry to the homeless, or to the local school, or to the housing developments around us.

Facilities

The facilities team cares for and maintains the church facilities so that the building and property honor the Lord and bring glory to Him.

Global Outreach

The GO Team works actively to keep the church family up-to-date on our Global Workers and their prayer needs. They promote global missions opportunities seek to advance the great commission.

Hospitality

The hospitality team provides an informative, inviting, and welcoming environment for services and events that encourage meaningful community and worship.

Kids

The kids team creates a fun environment that naturally disciples kids by connecting them to the Word of God through the story of God.

Men

The men’s team helps plan events and opportunities for men to come together, have fun, challenge each other and grow together in Christ.

Parking

The parking team creates a welcoming and inviting experience as the first contact made with our visitors and members.

Prayer

The team does the hard work of lifting up the church community in prayer. There are opportunities to pray before the service, as well as during and after services. Our prayer warriors are critical to the Lord’s work at SGC!

Security

The security team helps to provide a safe worship environment for our kids, students, and adults during our weekend services, gatherings, and events.

Students

This team supports parents in shepherding their students, as they grow in their passionate pursuit of Jesus.

Tech Team

If you have a desire to help make the weekend services happen, join the weekend production team to help with audio, lighting, and video.

Ushers

The usher team welcomes God’s people into the worship center by making a personal connection with them, seating them, serving communion, and collecting the offering at our weekend services

Women

The women’s team works together to equip women to become more like Christ and influence their world for the glory of God.

Worship

This team uses their gifting to lead our community to worship Jesus in our weekend services, our prayer times, and also during mid-week activities.

Young Adults

This team helps young adults grow in their relationship with Jesus through life on life discipleship.

Biblical Counseling

This team is in development and training – learning how to use God’s Word to come alongside and disciple those facing life’s challenges.
