The stewardship of our finances is a tremendous—and often overlooked—area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously.

As you give, we would ask that you make the general fund your primary place of giving. This funds the majority of our ministry and allows us to keep operating.

Second, please consider an over-and-above gift to one of our strategic funds:

  • Global Outreach (GO) Fund – God has called us to go into the world and make disciples. Through our missionary family, we seek to share the good news of salvation through Christ. SCC currently supports 16 missionaries in 10 different countries. More than 70% of this fund comes from over-and-above gifts to the GO Fund.
  • Benevolence Fund – The Benevolence fund helps to meet the needs of those in our own church family who are going through challenging times.  The Benevolence Committee prayerfully distributes these funds as needs that assist in meeting the essential basic needs of life. Funds are often used for things such as food assistance, clothing, medical care, utilities, and other general life expenses.
  • Community Outreach – The Community Fund is designated to enhance the places where we gather in community within the walls of Southwest Community Church as well as in the local community outside of the church. The next project on the horizon is the refreshing and renovation of the student center. Click here to learn more about our community fund.
