Prayer Wall

Thanks for visiting the SCC Prayer wall.

This is a great way for us to support one another, lifting up our cares and concerns, our praise and our prayer to the sovereign God.

This prayer wall is for anyone to submit prayer requests and praises. We encourage you to frequently visit and spend time praying over the requests and praises. Be sure to push the “I prayed for this” button once you’ve prayed. Let’s see how God moves in and through our church! When you submit a request, please be sure to click on the “share this” button to see the options for how widespread your request is communicated.

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray for my wife and for our marriage. Our marriage is in trouble without God's intervention. My wife has a serious illness and on top of that, we're awaiting the results of a biopsy cancer test. I'm trusting in Jesus, but I think she's lost hope. Thank you for your prayers.

Pray for Jeff’s salvation, and that I will trust in God’s many promises. I need to trust that He is working mightily in the situation, even if divorce happens, that God has got this under control, and I just need to wait on Him and keep my eyes on Him. Please, Lord, I ask for salvation and restoration

Hi SCC, This request is on behalf of Jennifer Osborne, who was a faithful SCC attendee until the pandemic last year. She is home-bound and Pastor Al Hodges knows her.

Meanwhile, I am late in sending this request, as Jennifer's father passed away last month and she asked for prayers for her and her sister, Angela, as they grieve their loss. And also for Angela, who is handling their Dad's estate.

I know Jennifer would love to hear from us, her friends at SCC and just checking in to say so here.

Thanks very much,

Ruthie

Please pray for Rosemarie. My neighbor has suffered numerous losses in the past few years: The death of her parents, her husband, and her brother. She shares responsibility for the care and well-being of 2 children: a boy age 13 and a girl age 15.

Last week the children’s father and Rosemarie’s brother Vic, was diagnosed with a cancerous mass in his abdomen. This diagnosis has made Rosemarie feel ill. Both she and Vic are strong believers and have done a wonderful job raising the children and instilling in them a sweet, beautiful faith in Jesus. However, the prospect of shouldering the complete responsibility for two so young would be daunting indeed as Rosemarie is in her early 70’s.

She and Vic will see the doctor tomorrow, Monday 9/27/21 for specifics on the type and stage of the mass Vic is carrying, and recommended treatment options. He battled and defeated jaw cancer a few years back, and this cancer is unrelated. Rosemarie, Vic, and the children covet your prayers.

Thank you!!!
