My daughter has struggled with who God is her whole life. Myself, my husband, our parents, every pastor, and every church have not been able to answer the doubts and fears she has about God/Jesus or salvation. She has rejected the Bible we have given her (Zondervan's Life Application Study Bible-NIV) saying it isn't accurately translating the scriptures. She told me a few years ago she is agnostic. Very soul crushing. She's very intelligent and at the core of her skepticism, I believe her pride has warped her interpretations of the gospels. She's a traveling psych nurse and she has an assignment in southern Denver. I want to call out to you as the body of Christ to pray for her. I also am praying the Lord will deliver one or many of his children (maybe from your church) in the area to somehow intersect in her life. She was baptized as a child and has told me she asked God for forgiveness of her sins and to come into her heart. Christ never gives up on his children.
