Mom's Class
Begins Tuesday, September 15. We will meet from 9:00-11:00am.
The Mom's Class is a community of women desiring to grow in what it means to be a Christ-follower and to faithfully disciple their children at home. The class focuses on parenting principles rooted in Scripture and a biblical worldview with practical application for moms in all stages of raising their kids. We meet from September-April and have weekly teachings, group discussion, prayer, and opportunities to encourage one another in our calling as disciples of Jesus and to point our children to him. Moms are welcome to join at any time. Child care is provided, and mom-dependent babies are welcome in the group. Led by Kimberly Ford and Stacy Stutzman.
Weekly Bible Studies
The foundation of our Women’s Ministry is the study, discussion, and application of God’s Word. We value the connection and transformation that takes place in a community of friends, which is why we have a wide variety of studies to choose from. This way, you can find a Bible study that works for you!
Study of Genesis
Tuesdays beginning September 15 | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Genesis. “In the beginning…” So many familiar words and stories are contained in this first book of the Bible. Sometimes we assume we learned what we needed to back in childhood, but these lively pages are still rich with drama and beauty that invites us to think more deeply about the foundations of God’s nature, His work in the world, and His relationship with humanity. Focusing primarily on the text itself and following its links around the rest of Scripture, we will spend the fall and spring walking together through creation, rebellion, and the seeds of redemption. Child care provided.
In View of God's Mercies: The Gift of the Gospel in Romans by Courtney Doctor
Tuesdays beginning September 8 | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Our ladies Bible study group includes singing, sharing, a video every other week, and a guided response lesson. Lessons are interactive and participants have an opportunity to volunteer to lead a lesson/discussion if they wish.
(In the summer, our Bible study group meets at Front Porch Coffee Shop weekly during our regular Bible study time for a time of fellowship.)
Study of Hebrews
Tuesdays beginning September 16 | 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. via Zoom
One of the hallmarks of this group is that all participants volunteer to facilitate (lead) a lesson each week. Through sharing our insights about the Scripture we’re studying and also praying for one another, we allow the Spirit to transform our lives and align more closely with the woman that God would have us to be. We believe that God created us to be in relationship, and this group is one place where those relationships can grow. We would love to have you join us.
He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God by Priscilla Shirer
Wednesdays beginning September 9 | 9:00-11:30am in the Triplex
This is a group of “senior” women, but is open to all ages. They break into three small groups of about 12-15 women in each group. We would love to have you join us.
