Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.
Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
Give thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love, and His faithfulness. While we fail daily, He is always there to pick us up, ready to forgive, and is faithful to love us with a never-ending love. Praise the Lord!
If you have time: Listen to this familiar Hymn, Great is thy Faithfulness and sing it back to the Lord as a prayer.
Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church.
- Praise the Lord for a good meeting with a pro-life organization in the area. There seems to be good opportunity for future partnership. Continue to pray!
- Pray for the research and development of plans to open an early childhood center. Pray for meetings happening the next couple days, that have potential to accelerate this effort.
- Pray for the Lord to guide the team that will search for a new College Pastor. Ask God to lead the search team to the right man who will be used by God to reach college students in our area.
Personal
- Continue to pray for that friend or family member that you identified last week, as someone you want to pray for during this month.
- If they are a non-believer: Col 1:9-11 – Pray they will have wisdom & understanding to live a live pleasing to God.
- If they know Christ: Eph 3: 16-19 – Pray that they will know and understand the love of God in new and fresh ways.
- Continue to pray for your neighborhood, school, and/or your workplace. Ask God to begin to soften hearts in those areas where you spend most of your time.
