Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.
Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20
Every good thing we have, comes from the Lord’s hand. Praise Him today for being your provider. Acknowledge His care for you and spend time giving Him thanks.
Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church.
- Pray for Matt Jones as He prepares to share from God’s Word this Sunday. Ask the Lord to ready our hearts and to speak through Matt, for His glory.
- The pro-life organization, that we are talking with about future partnership, is in need of a Medical Director. This person needs to be an N.P., D.O., or M.D., and would only be needed a few hours weekly to read ultrasounds. The work can also be done remotely. Would you pray for this urgent need?
- A meeting on Wednesday regarding the potential early childhood center went well. Continue to pray for clarity for future direction.
- Pray for our church family, that older and younger generations would connect and grow together through discipleship relationships.
Personal
- Consider your prayer habits and ask the Lord to guide you as you seek to be persistent in prayer. How would He have you to change and grow in this area? As He guides your thoughts, give those back to Him and ask for strength and discipline to do what He is asking you to do.
- Pray over Acts 1:8 and ask God to give you boldness to be a strong witness for Him and for His glory. If you are able gather with your family or friends and pray together.
