Journey of Prayer

By February 23, 2026No Comments

Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.

Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Even though will face trouble in this world, be encouraged because He has overcome it. Whatever you’re walking through right now, you’re not facing it alone. His victory is bigger than your struggle, and His peace is stronger than your fear.

Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church.

  • We plan to deliver some car seats and diapers to the pro-life center up the road. Pray that we can be an encouragement to the people serving there and that we can make good connections for the future.
  • Conversations continue this week regarding the potential early childhood center. Pray for clarity on the future direction.
  • Pray for the upcoming series on Ecclesiastes and for Pastor Arnie has he prepares this week.
  • Thank the Lord for Youth Sunday yesterday and pray for our students that they will be drawn to the Lord and will be driven to make a difference for Him with their lives.

Personal

  • Ask the Lord to open doors for you this week, to share of His goodness with others.
  • Keep praying for that friend or family member that you have chosen to pray for during this month.
    • If they are a non-believer – Pray that God would open their hearts, as He did in Acts 16:14 for Lydia, to hear the Gospel.
    • If they know Christ – Pray that their heart – and yours – would grow in Awe of God, and hunger for His Word. (Eph 1: 17-19)
  • As time goes on, it’s challenging to persist in prayer. Ask the Lord to give you the discipline and desire to keep pushing forward in prayer.
