Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.
Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:2
Spend time reflecting on this amazing verse. When we are in trouble or when life gets challenging, God is there. He is very present in our lives and is ready to give us the strength we need and to provide a place of refuge! We are not alone when we walk through difficult times! Give Him thanks and worship Him for loving us in this way!
Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church. Many of these will stay here for the month. Others will likely be added. Pick one or two to pray for each day or, pray for them all if you have the time!
- Pray for our church family, that older and younger generations would connect and grow together through discipleship relationships.
- Continue to pray for Alternatives Pregnancy Center as they stand for Life. Pray that we can be an encouragement and support to Alternatives through our time and resources. Pray specifically that our church will raise enough money ($35-40,000) to provide an ultra-sound machine by Sunday.
- Pray for our time next Sunday as we celebrate Baptisms, and welcome new members to our church family.
Personal
- Keep praying for that friend or family member that you have chosen to pray for during this month.
- If they are a non-believer – Pray that God would open their hearts, as He did in Acts 16:14 for Lydia, to hear the Gospel.
- If they know Christ, pray that their heart, and yours would grow in Awe of God, and hunger for His Word. (Eph 1: 17-19)
