Journey of Prayer

Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.

Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Jesus does not change. His character, power, love, and promises remains constant. Unlike human leaders or cultural trends, He is reliable and steady. Praise the Lord for His unchanging nature!

Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church.

  • Continue praying for Youth Sunday this coming weekend. Pray for Scott Riley, our Student Ministry Director, as he shares from God’s Word.
  • Pray global workers Ron & Alice Waters. Pray for the final healing of Ron’s neuropathy from the chemotherapy. Alice is seeking a second option about her undiagnosed medical condition from a specialist. Pray for a breakthrough in identifying the underlying cause so she can get treatment and return to a more effective life and ministry.
  • Pray for the Lord to guide the team that has begun a search for a new College Pastor. Ask God to lead the search team to the right man who will be used by God to reach college students in our area.

Personal

  • Reflect on the blessings of God in your life. Give Him thanks!
  • Jeremiah 29:13 – You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Spend some time seeking the Lord and asking Him if there is anything you are holding back? Is there an area of your life that you need to turn over completely to Him?
