Journey of Prayer

Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.

Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: The Lord is good to all, and His mercy is over all that He has made. Psalm 145:9

Stop and reflect on the kindness of the Lord. He is so good to us, and we don’t deserve it, one bit. Give Him thanks for loving us in the way that He does!

Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church.

  • Pray for Youth Sunday this coming weekend. Pray for Scott Riley, our Student Ministry Director, as he shares from God’s Word.
  • Pray for our church family, that older and younger generations would connect and grow together through discipleship relationships.
  • Pray for the Lord to guide the team that will search for a new College Pastor. Ask God to lead the search team to the right man who will be used by God to reach college students in our area.

Personal

  • Continue to pray for that friend or family member that you identified as someone you want to pray for during this month.
    • If they are a non-believer: 2 Cor 4: 4 – Pray that God would remove Satan’s blinding influence
    • If they know Christ: Eph 3: 16-19 – Pray that they will know and understand the love of God in new and fresh ways.
  • Commit yourself to the Lord for the day ahead. Ask Him to deepen your trust in Him and pray that God would be pleased with how you live your life today.
