Thank you for being willing to go on a Journey of Prayer with us. Our goal is to grow in prayer together as we seek our great God, for the month of February.
Biblical Encouragement
Verse for today: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13
Apart from Christ, life can sometimes feel hopeless. With Christ, and through the power of the Spirit, we can abound in hope and experience true joy and peace. What an amazing truth. Praise the Lord!
Prayers for the Church
Note: These are current and/or ongoing ways to pray for the church.
- Pray for our Global Workers, Mike & Melissa Eckdahl, who serve in Senegal. They provide leadership to mission teams serving in West Africa: 6 countries, 6 teams and 20 members, focused on approximately 5 unreached people groups.
- Pray for Eric & Megan Dekruif and their family as they prepare to go to Kenya for April & May. Ask the Lord to go before them, grow them, and use them for His glory during their time in Kenya.
Personal
- Think of someone at church that you have met (or have seen) recently and pray for them. Next time you see them, or if you have their contact information, let them know that you prayed for them.
- Pray through Psalm 139: 3-4: Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Ask the Lord to reveal to you where your heart may not be fully devoted to Him, and to lead you towards Christ-likeness.
