Grow Through Community

If you’re feeling disconnected and want to grow in your spiritual life, but don’t know where to start, you’re in the right place. We believe growth best takes place through community. At Southwest, we encourage you to plug into a Community Group where you can get to know others in our church family, grow in your walk with the Lord, and journey through life together. We pray you find a community that’s a perfect fit for you!

Community Groups

Each and every week, the family of Southwest Community Church gathers in smaller groups to encourage each other, have fun, grow together, and support each other in prayer. There are groups meeting on Sunday, during the Community Hour, and at many other times throughout the week. Some groups meet at the church and others meet in homes.

Mid-week Community Groups

Mid-week Community Groups meet during the week in homes throughout the city. These groups are usually a bit smaller (8-12 people) and are discussion based, allowing all members to participate as you study the Bible. Most groups meet for about 8-12 weeks at a time.

Sunday Community Groups

The Sunday Community Hour is between services at 10am. Regardless of which service you attend, you can find a time for community at 10am. Sunday Community Groups generally meet in one of our classrooms and can be from 10-12 people or, in some cases, up to 50 people. Each group studies the Bible together and commits time to pray for each other as well.

To find out more about our Sunday Community Groups, stop by the welcome kiosk in the welcome center or contact us for more information.
